COURTNEY ORTIZ

Courtney Ortiz, a native of Baltimore MD, is a 2007 youngARTS award winner in Modern Dance. Her professional dance career has allowed her to travel the world performing in places such as: Canada, Alaska, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Australia and France. Her career spans from Stage to Screen with credits including: Company Member with The Chase Brock Experience, Choreographer and Dancer on Youtube’s hit web series “The Key of Awesome”, Backup Dancer for PSY and Chris Brown on “The Today Show”, Dancer for Heidi Klum at Madison Square Garden in “Macy’s Fashion Front Row” on E! Network, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Lin Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights. One of her most favorite and most memorable credits was performing throughout Europe on the International Tour of the classic musical West Side Story as a Jet Girl and the Assistant Dance Captain. 

Some of her most recent credits include the 1st National Tour of the Broadway Musical Finding Neverland, Lin Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights, and this past summer, she performed in the first ever revival in 30 years of Jerome Robbins’ Broadway at The Muny’s 100th Season in St. Louis, MO! You can also catch Courtney’s feet tap dancing in the new hit series, FX’s “Fosse/Vernon”, where she was the dance double for Young Bob Fosse! Outside of performing, she is a master teacher on numerous Dance Conventions (REVEL, Excel in Motion) and also a full time competition judge. You can even see her behind the judges table on Lifetime’s “Dance Moms” in Seasons 2 & 3. Currently, she resides in New York City, is signed with in-demand commercial and dance agency, CESD, and is the owner of Impact Dance Adjudicators! Follow her! @courtney.ortiz

 

ALEXANDRA FROHLINGER

Alexandra Frohlinger is a New York based singer, actor, dancer and teaching artist. She has performed, adjudicated and taught all over North America. Born and raised in Canada, Alexandra trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school (studying all styles of dance) before obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, in Musical Theater, from The Boston Conservatory. 

Most recently, Alexandra was seen in the First National Tour of “Hello, Dolly!” starting Betty Buckley.

Alexandra played (“the first singing”) Anybodys on the First National Tour of “West Side Story” (which toured the USA, Canada and inaugurated the Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan). She appeared on Broadway in the original cast of “Soul Doctor” the musical. She also toured the USA and Canada in the cast of the  First National Tour of “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.” Off-Broadway, She played the role of Sadie in The National Yiddish Theater’s production of “Amerike: The Golden Land”, which was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. Regionally Alexandra has performed at Arena Stage in Washington, DC and at The Sacramento Music Circus, in California.

She currently teaches tap, jazz and ballet in the New York area, and has taught musical theater master classes for countless performing arts schools all over. She has been judging dance competitions around the country for the better part of a decade.

CASIE “TYNEE” GOSHOW

Casie “Tynee” Goshow is a hip hop choreographer and break dancer, who has been teaching both hip hop and break dancing for the past 12 years around the country.  She is originally from a small town in Pennsylvania and went to live in New York City after college, before making the move to Los Angeles. She has worked in the commercial entertainment industry working a variety of jobs as she pursues her dreams.  Casie has worked side by side with various artists and organizations such as Lil Tjay, Karmin, TT The Artist, Chris Porter, Chris Brown, Lil John, PSY, French Montana, High School Musical “Ther Series,” Beats Superbowl Commercial, the NBA, Adidas and was a Las Vegas Season 12 Street Finalist on So You Think You Can Dance?

Currently she is touring around the country teaching kids of all ages at studios, conventions and competitions.  Casie has worked for Excel In Motion, Joffrey Ballet’s Summer of Hip Hop Intensive, Shake the Ground, Alvin Ailey, Headliners Dance, Imagine, Wild Dance Convention, Legacy, Turn It Up, In The Groove and more over the years.  Casie owns her own clothing line, Goshow Yourself, which was created in response to the bullying occurring around the country. She wanted a clothing line that inspired people of all ages and walks of life to have the courage and confidence to be themselves.
